Terms of use
Last updated 30 September 2026.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and BABG TECH LTD, registered in England and Wales under number 17276222, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. They govern your use of Yerba Tsede. By opening an account you accept them.
2. What the service is
Yerba Tsede lets you receive money on local payment rails, hold a balance denominated in USDC, and send payouts back onto local rails in jurisdictions we are authorised to serve.
Settlement runs through our banking partners: Banking Circle for European and UK settlement, and Lead Bank for US settlement. We are not a bank and we do not hold your funds as a bank would.
3. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep it current.
- You must complete identity verification before the account can move money. Business accounts also provide company registration details and information on directors and beneficial owners.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for activity on your account.
- The account is for your own use. You may not let someone else use it or operate it on behalf of an undisclosed third party.
- You can close your account from inside the product at any time.
4. Funding
You fund the account using the rails available to you — SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH, FedNow, Pix, SPEI or PSE. On arrival the amount is converted to USDC and credited to your balance. The rate applied and any fee are shown on the transaction.
5. Your balance
Your balance is held in USDC, a digital asset issued by Circle and denominated in US dollars.
A USDC balance is not a bank deposit. It is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or by any other deposit guarantee scheme. Its value depends on the issuer maintaining redemption against the dollar. We do not issue USDC and we do not guarantee its value.
6. Payouts
- Payouts settle only into jurisdictions we are authorised to serve. If a destination is not on the authorised list, the payout cannot be created.
- Every payout is screened. We may refuse, delay or reverse a payout where screening requires it, where we suspect financial crime, or where we are legally required to.
- You are responsible for the payout details you enter. Where a scheme does not support name checking, a payment sent to the wrong account may be irrecoverable.
- Scheme timings are indicative. Cut-off times, screening and the receiving institution all affect arrival.
7. Rates and fees
Rates shown on this website are indicative and are provided to illustrate how the service works. The rate and fees that apply to a given transaction are shown on the quote before you confirm it. Nothing is deducted from your balance without being displayed first.
8. Things you must not do
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to evade sanctions or tax obligations.
- Provide false information, or documents that are not yours.
- Attempt to interfere with the service, its security, or other users' accounts.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, and we may be legally required to report it.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by you giving us wrong payment details.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
10. Changes and ending the agreement
We may change these terms. For material changes we give you notice by email or in the product before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you can close your account. We may close an account with notice, or immediately where we are required to.
11. Complaints and governing law
If something goes wrong, tell us — see the complaints page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
